Already tried that. If just sending a single command like atdt for
example, chat comes back right away, and the modem doesn't go off
hook. If using a script that is a send/expect sequence, chat just
hangs there until I kill it. The modem works perfectly fine in minicom
though. So, I suspect I'll need to use a c/c++ program to initialize
and setup the serial port, and pass it to chat to talk to the modem
that way. I'll need to think some more on what the best approach for
the whole program would be.
