Ot: cd sound problem driving me crazy

Yes, my pcm setting is well above zero.
but yes, i have a line out jack and a speaker jack and everything should 
work with the speaker jack without me having to put the speaker plug in 
line out just for cd listening.
If my pcm setting weren't well above zero, I believe I'd be having 
trouble with all my sound. I don't have it at 100% because then it can get 
a little distorted, but I have pcm in the high 80s and it is not muted.
