mplayer dvd

Hello there:
I don't think you will be able to play DVD video or any other type of video without a frame buffer. As far as I know
the text console is text only. However, you might be able to play the audio from the DVD without FB support.
Yes, MPlayer handles DVD menus just fine. In the console however, you have to specify the title and language you want
on the command line. So the command:
# mplayer dvd://1 -alang en -slang es
would tell mplayer to play the title number 1 with the English language audio and the Spanish subtitles.

dvd://1 = title number 1 (could be 2, 3, or whatever).
-alang = what language for the audio. E.G. en, es, de, etc.
-slang = what subtitle...
