Gnome error

Hi all. I figured I'd play with the new Mozilla-1.7 and test out its accessibility components...I have everything configured right as far as I know. However, when I do startx and Gnome starts 
up, I get this and X shuts down right after: gnome-session: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgnomecanvas-2.so.0: undefined symbol: gdk_threads_lock

I'm currently using whatever version of Gnome came in the Gnome series for Slackware-9.1. Anyone know how I would go about fixing this one? Thanks!
