Ok, I'm going to install fedora 2 on my 501 mhz 256 megs of ram computer when it dcomes out. Here is the question, I know there used to be a proformence boost in compiling your own kernel. If I try to compile my kernel now, and use speakup with speech disbatchar will I get a proformence boost? Appreciate any info.
