possible speakup bug - lines running together

Hi Kirk
I get it when using say screen, say to bottom, or any other command that
reads multiple lines at a time such as read window. The single line
reading commands don't have a problem.  Also, I forgot to say I'm using
kernel 2.6.4 if that makes any difference.
