[Effortless Union with the Divine]

When the terminal scrolls the screen, or overwrites the screen with the
next, it will not update common characters, and hence will not speak
them, resulting in spoken fragments. Hopefully people know what tthis
means. If so, does anyone know how to make it straight text, without
fancy updating calls?

ps: thanks to the discussion about dynamically updated signatures and a
simple Perl script, the signature now contains the currently playing 
song on the station.
