hi Greg,
I am probably not a good one to comment on this because I don't know much
about it, but as a JAWS and windows user I don't like seeing the following
at the top of every message.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1

Anyway i hope to play with e-mail under linux at some point but I am not
really looking foreward to setting up the dialup connection. From what I
have read it doesn't really seem to be that straight foreward like it is in
windoes.
Roy

Hi all.

While we all have to use in-line signatures to post at least to this
list, and while the old in-line signatures are deprecated in favor of
pgp/mime, Steve has indicated that he uses in-line signatures when
sending to this list, but uses pgp/mime when sending to everyone
else. Also, in my private correspondence with Thomas, I noticed that he
seems to be using pgp/mime as well.

Given the fact that I was specifically asked by someone to use in-line
signatures instead of pgp/mime when sending to them privately,
combined with the fact that pine doesn't seem to support pgp/mime from
what Chuck has said, as well as like it or not, I at least have to
communicate with windows users who get freaked out whenever they see an
attachment they didn't expect, and who don't use gpg/pgp themselves, I
was wondering if the majority of us on this list use pgp/mime when
mailing privately, or if folks use in-line signatures instead?

Since this type of a thread is bound to result in a bunch of replies
which all may not benefit from, folks are welcome to reply to me
privately. I would however be very interested in getting feedback
about what everyone here using gpg does regarding the above
issues. Thanks.

Greg
