Reading PGP messages with Mutt

Steve,

You need to check your gpg.conf file in the .gnupg directory to
let your system do automatic key retrievals from a keyserver.
When you specify a keyserver, you can theoretically assume that
if it is published, you will find it. I say theoretically because
there are one or two bad news servers which are broken and do not
share with others, or deliver defective keys. Everyone nowadays
seems happy with this one: subkeys.pgp.net

Once a key is retrieved it will be added to your public keyring
and you will not have to retrieve it again, so the network
overhead is not as heavy as you might think.
