Jupiter, Speakup, and DecPC?

Hi All: For the last 2 months or so I have been in contact with the authors of
YASR and Jupiter. Just to review, I wanted to try both of these screen-readers
because they both support the internal DecTalk, and Jupiter has quite good
exception dictionary support.
In both cases, we are having separate troubles. In Jupiter, we cannot get the
auto read mode working in screen mode. Also, there are extreme delays after
typing commands to where the speech will read a prompt.
In YASR case, the person who seemingly wrote the driver is not very familiar
with configuring it, so I have never gotten to run YASR. If there are folks on
here who have successfully run either or both these screen-readers with a Dec
Talk Pc, can you please privide either tips or even phone support.
Also, you see in speakup the dectalk driver buffer is extremely sluggish and
while I appreciate a driver, doing any cursoring or arrowing is really
frustrating
Thanks so much in advance
Hart
