(OT) configuring for router

I don't remember if you told us what brand it is, but many routers
have a web style interface and you can use a web browser to connect to
an address like 192.168.1.1 or whatever.  Now the golden question:
will this particular model, if web based, work with text browsers like
lynx? Some of these do not - damn javascript.  And believe it or not,
the other day I was inquiring and some routers still do not have a web
interface at all; probably require some secret proprietary windows ap
or something.  I'm sure gonna steer well clear of such models.  Sorry,
I can't remember exact model numbers now but one of them was by
belkin.  I think the other was some name I hadn't heard of.
