Compiling my kernel

Guys,

All suggestions are working great. Can't thank you enough for being so
helpful. Must really get tiring answering all these newbie questions -- just
like I get tired of helping people save to their floppy drive.

Lots of info I didn't know before. gotta go to a monumentally borring
meeting at work now, so you won't have to put up with any more questions for
a while. Can't wait to get back to this.
