curses.h file

Hi all,

I am trying to install the Rita Reader package.  When I do make, it can't find a file or folder called curses.h.  then I subsequently get multiple errors about some sort of invalid declarations.  Does anyone know what package might contain this file that I need to install or what else might be wrong?  I am running Debian Sarge. thanks.
