dectalk patch

hi,
how would I do this I don't know what sutuation I fall in. I am using 
fedora 2 that has speakup with it already.

Most likely yes. If you have speakup as modules, recompile your
modules, and reinstall them. If you have speakup in the kernel,
recompile the kernel and reinstall it.

In general, whenever you patch something, you need to recompile it.
