php not running on apache

Its been a while since I used apache instead of apache2, but I think by
default the debian packages of it don't load the php4 module. IIRC you
uncommented a line in httpd.conf and it just works. Check your logs and
see if you can see anything out of the ordinary when you access the php
page.
