Apache compile errors

Hi all. Anyone know why I get the following errors when trying to compile
the latest Apache-2 release? /bin/sh

I know the problem is related to pthread.h, and as far as I know that
header is part of Glibc...Does that mean I need a new Glibc or rebuild the
existing one?
