Well, that depends. If your running a production system, you should
use the 2.4.24 kernel as the 2.6 series still has some stability
issues. However, if your adventurous and you like to play, then get
the 2.6 kernel.

When I look on kernel.org I see that there are 2 choices for me,
linux-2.6.1
linux-2.4.24
So, can anyone advise me as to which is the better kernel to upgrade
to?
