This is not correct. You can compile, install, and/or use Yasr whether
or not you have Speakup in your kernel. The two do not conflict in any
way.

Of course, you might confused if both are talking at the same time--but
that's a different issue. Only you get confused should you do that. The
computer will do just fine..
