flashing dectalk

Hi all. The ram method is very efficient...WOuld be nice if all hardware 
flashing mechanisms worked like this. Anyway, does anyone konw how I go 
about identifying the current firmware version? On power-on the only 
message is: "Dectalk express is running, external power on." Thanks!
