Hi, I d/l'ed the dectalk 4.61 american english firmware. They have fixed the issue with numbers embedded in words. The pronounciation is different, can't exactly say how. I actually kicked my speech rate up to 400 from 350 with no percieved loss of clarity. Your milage may vary, disclaimer, disclaimer, etc.... Cecil
