Qualification of console was Re: More "Log-On" related questions

Hi.
 I have to disagree about "text console" being redundant.
Lately, I normally have 5 logins.  4 text and 1 Gnome. 
I think the terms "text console" and "GUI console" will be helpful.
The 2 user interfaces are verry different, but they are being used from
the same physical console.
