Hi all. I decied to poke aorund in the Mailman logs to see what I got
(mainly to see if it was the MTA's fault or not). Here's what I found:
Dec 18 22:47:16 2004 (23441) Low level smtp error: (-2, 'Name or service
not known'), msgid: <mailman.0.1103428034.23439.igors_list at lava-net.com>
Dec 18 22:47:16 2004 (23441) delivery to igueths at lava-net.com failed
with code -1: (-2, 'Name or service not known')
Is that its way of saying that an entry for localhost doesn't exist in
/etc/hosts? I googled variants of that error and someone had fixed the
problem by specifying 127.0.0.1 localhost in /etc/hosts. I checked mine
and I already have that entry present. Anyone know what else might cause
that error? Thanks!
