Presumaby Matt works for said company. If the software was not
proprietary, then how would Matt make a living? If all of the
world's software were free, there would be a whole lot of
unemployed programmers. I think you are going a bit too far
with your ideas on ethics. Software developers should be able
to earn money for their work. Would plumbers work for free
because of an ethical need for people to have water?
