problems compiling FLite

Steven,

Probably gonna get shot for this, but I had the same problem on 
one of my Fedora boxes. I solved it by doing a google search for 
flite and rpm. Found a rpm, installed it and all the bullshit 
ended. Save yourself alot of greif and do the same.
