Laptops that Linux likes?

I think the point he was trying to make is that not everyone might
want redhat preinstalled on a box. For example, if I were getting a
gnu/linux laptop right now, I would prefer to get one without an OS
for 2 reasons.

1. I would want to have slackware or debian running on it.
2. I'd like to do my own install from the start, and having a
preinstalled system would mean that I'd need to spend time wiping it
first.
