2.4.x kernels should compile again

You fixed the V flag in the Makefile but I'm getting an error in
modules_install

make -C speakup modules_install
make[3]: Entering directory `/usr/src/linux-2.4.25/drivers/char/speakup'
Makefile:5: *** missing separator.  Stop.
