zip drive

Hi,
is the iomega zip 100 accessable under redhat 9?
I have tried to access it in 2 ways. I have tried mdir b:

and also
mount -t vfat /dev/sda4 /zip

When I try to mount it I get the error that says
/dev/sda4 is not a valid device.

I got the mount instructiond from

Why is it hat when following instructions in theese howtos they don't work
in redhat 9.
