tomsrtbt and KNOPPIX CD question

Just out of curiosity I did a google search for slackware libc5 and the
.tgz file is still around; you may have said that but i didn't save the
message so i'm not sure. Whether there'd be problems putting it on your
system I can't say but apparently old packages never die; they just get
put out to pasture.
It just depends on how often the attic gets cleaned out.
I say this because the url I found for libc5 in slackware had both the
word pasture and the word attic in it!
