kernel 2.6x won't take keyboard input

Hi all.
I just got linux version 2.6.0-test5, and configed it with all the stuff I put into 2.4.22.
I rebooted it, but it didn't let me type in anything from the keyboard.
I selected every possible keyboard driver afterwards to make sure, but it won't let me type...
