zipSpeak

I have tried getting zipspeak to run on my machine, and it seems to not
recognize my USB keyboard.
My PS/2 ports seem to be out of commission, so that is not an option.
I do have USB set to work in my BIOS, so does anyone have any other
suggestions for getting zipspeak to work with a USB keyboard?  The reason I
believe it is the keyboard is that I cannot type anything after I type Linux
at the DOS prompt.
