syslog

hi all. I uncommented the  daemon.info line in my /etc/syslog.conf so I 
could see what was happening when my terminal tried to get it's kernel 
from tftp. now when I restarted syslog I got the following error:
syslogd: unknown facility name "iv"
syslog does in fact restart.
can this error safely be ignored or do I need to fix something? I'm 
using the default syslog.conf that comes with slafckware 9.1
