CHKSUM Errors:

[Dawes, Stephen]

I am having a problem with a program that talks to my x10 controller on
ttyS0.
When ever I issue a command to the controller, I get a checksum error.

Can anyone tell me how checksums are calculated, and what may be a
possible cause for my problem?
