My reason for moving ownership of packages over to root formally is for standardization purposes. When I put packages onto disks other than the hard drive for archival purposes and later need to reinstall those packages one of the things I don't want to wonder about is actual ownership of the package. -- Jude <dashielljt(at)gmpexpress-dot-net>
