sendmail with authentication

With sendmail, there's another package called sasl-x.y.z.tar.gz needed to
download build and configure.  I never did manage to figure it out.  So I
ended up with postfix installed over here and will see if I can figure out
how to configure authentication for starpower.net a little later.
