Edit the /etc/sysconfig/i18n file and comment out the line that begins "font=" and your problem will be solved. I had the good fortune to have stumbled across this problem and its sollution just 2 days ago and am happy to be able to share it now that I know it is so easy to fix. HTH Lorenzo
