not sure if it's a bug or not.

hi,
I've finally upgraded to speakup cvs and so far am very impressed with
what I see.
there is one thing however, I ain't sure if it's a tracking issue or
what.
when I try to use alsamixer, I don't seem to be able to know what
control I've landed on.
is this a bug or is an application specific issue?
