Installing Linux with Speakup

Unfortunately this company is non-profit and does not want to spend money on
the software. That is why they want to use Linux. And the How to on the
speakup site does not tell you how to put it on the cd.

You don't "unpack" them. That's not what they're for. The HOWTO explains
in great detail how to create a CD ROM from these files. It also
explains how to install directly from these files without ever creating
a CD ROM.

The images on the Speakup site are, however, out of date. Even though
you've gone to the trouble of downloading them, you'd be better served
to get a shrink-wrapped copy of Red Hat 8.0 at your favorite computer
software store or on the net. Just make sure you get Red Hat 8.0.
Everything you need will be inside the box. Then you can install the
latest and greatest following the instructions in the HOWTO.
