Jupiter Speech in Linux?

The other day I was searching in google for dec-talk and dictionaries.  Well, I
ran in to Jupiter.

I wrote the author--and he says you can run it as a screen-reader.  The fact
that it also supports my synth and has customizeable dictionairies, makes it
appealing to try some time.
Have any of you tried Jupiter--and how well does it perform?
