Actually there is an ntfs read-only driver in the kernel.org source.
This driver also supports writing ntfs volumes. However, it's
considered experimental and very dangerous. It can and will trash
ntfs partitions if you use the driver from kernel.org. Can't say
anything about the support in mandrake because I've never used it.
Oh, and one more thing. IN order to even get the option from the
kernel.org kernels, you must enable the "prompt for development
and/or incomplete code" option.
