Off topic -- Mobile accessibility V Talx

Mobile Accessibility runs on the Symbian OS, which is only implemented
on GSM networks. Therefore, you won't get anything out of Verizon
Wireless, which is a CDMA carrier.

The Nokia 3650 we have at AFB is on the AT&T network, though it could
also be on Cingular. In other words, you need to look at a GSM carrier
if you want Mobile Accessibility.

As the cat is out of the bag, let me point out that the Audiovox/Toshiba
9900 is supposed to be out with a few accessibility features built in.
It's a CDMA phone which should be available any day from Sprint, I
think, and could be carried by VW as well, I suppose, though I have no
special knowledge of that.
