Someone here made the comment about Microsoft using IIS, and thus Linux
was not really the base OS. This message may shead some light on that...

Interesting tho, whatever sever akami is running isn't Apache, it only
uses HTTP 1.0.
Well, I don't know what Akamai uses, but I'd be surprised if they did
use Apache. They are caching web pages, not serving them. MS shows
as Linux/IIS, because Akamai faithfully repeats the server ident from
MS, while sending from Linux.
