You might want to check the HOWTO text that is installed under the
/usr/doc/HOWTO or under /usr/share/doc/HOWTO
I haven't used redhat since version 6.2.
There are various books located free at

lynx is good for reading text, especially if you go into the options
menu with
o
and activate the cursor.
you can use the
/
to search for cursor
you would do a
/cursor
and press enter.
to activate an item just press the right arrow
or just press the enter key
If you want to save your settings you wil have to goto the save box and
press the right arrow
it is the tfourth option on the menu.
I also put lynx in expert mode.
You can save your settings either at the top of the list or at the
bottom of the list but the `X' must bee in the box to save them to disk
