Broken URLs re Listen-Up

I may be guessing here but I know for my situation, FTP URL's never
work with lynx, the cat because I sit behind a firewall and lynx uses
"active FTP" for FTP URL's Typically, active FTP doesn't work through
IP masqueraded hosts such as what I'm using.  Passive FTP works fine
with browsers like the Internet Exploder from that little upstart
company in Redmond Washington:).  Actually when I use passive FTP from
my normal unix mail clients like lftp and ncftp, they work fine
through the Masq.  I can't find any way to get lynx to use passive
FTP.  I'll bet that would get it working just fine if we could change that.
