This is a story about a decency filter a friend of mine just
activated on a web based message board she has started. It
screens postings and makes them polite. For instance, it
automatically substitutes "F**K" for the real thing if it should
occur in a posting.

She noticed a bunch of postings from a new member who signed them
"Thingy" which she thought was pretty strange. Today he wrote to
her privately and asked her if she could please change his
membership name to "Richard Donovan" and signed his message "Dick
Donovan."

I can't help wondering what the filter would do to "wacker"?
