sendmail woes

It should be said that MTAs, by their nature, are not simple tools.
Anything that configurable is going to be complex.  Having said that
though, exim does appear to be simpler than sendmail, and it certainly
works well for me ... but I have the nice eximconfig script which might
well be a Debian thing.
