more network problems

Hi Alex,
I really think you should try invoking your dhcp client by hand. Some
dhcp servers refuse to work with pump. I like dhcpcd better because it
is easier to trace problems. First try:
pump -i eth0. Wait about a minute and try to ping a known ip address
e.g.:
ping -c 4 140.90.149.1
If it hangs and/or tells you that the network is unreachable, Then it
probably didn't get an ip. To check to make sure try ifconfig [enter].
At this point see if you have the dhcpcd program. dhcpcd -d -H
Note that the -H switch is upper case. If it is there it'll try to
connect for up to 60 seconds. If it works, it will display your ip
along with other information. Whatever you do, don't give up!
