Hi,
you would do better to boot to dos from a win98 boot disk and issue the
following command.
fdisk/mbr
note that there are no spaces. you might want to do this a few times to
ensure you've rebuilt your master boot record.
then if you're feeling adventurous, type sys c:
note the colan after the c.
I sometimes found that lilo -U didn't work so had to use this method to
remove lilo from my mbr.
