Getting rid of Linux

so instead of rebuilding his system why doesn't he just
use linux fdisk to delete his linux partition
then use 
parted to resize his windows partition to use the rest of the space on the hd.
oh ya then boot with his dos disk and do an 
fdisk /mbr
that should take care of it
