Hi Alex,

You can learn more about your hardware by looking at files in the /proc
directory.  Just do ls and then more on the name of a file that looks
interesting, such as the file cpuinfo...

Use the df -k command to see the vital stats on all mounted file systems,
including your hard disk, of course...
