md5sum file

Hi:

A single MD5sum file can contain MD5sums for as many files as you wish.  If
you view the file, you'll see that it's a text file with the filename at
the start of the line, followed by the MD5sum for that file.

To check your files against the files listed in the MD5sum file, go into
the same directory as ;your files are located and then type:

md5sum -c <filename>

Where <filename> is the file containing the MD5sums you wish to check
against.  If you wish to see what it's doing, also use the -v flag.
